I stayed
till the last wave broke the stern

for there was a dream in store
though hit to its core
its wings no more
it refused to hit the floor
of the same ocean
that saw it soar

I swam
I had to swim
long way to the shore
Wondering on the way
Why ,when, and what for ?
you and I were no more
Left with a dream
broken to its core
salty water ,
a horizon
and a silent roar
Left
to my agony and
a way to bore
waves to implore
for a way to a shore
just like before
